Walden's Paths provides a metadocument-based framework for reusing original materials located on the World-Wide Web in new contexts--for example in educational settings. The Web's administrative decentralization is one of the strongest reasons for the ubiquity of its information, but presents challenges in contextualizing repurposed information, maintaining collection stability, and providing cohesive structure for information use. In the talk, I will describe the approach that we have taken, the issues noted, and the solutions proposed.
