Professor Filkov's research interests are mainly in combinatorial algorithms and optimization, large-scale data integration, and scientific modeling. His work focuses on problems in computational biology, in particular on inference and modeling of transcriptional gene regulation and analysis and integration of gene expression and other large-scale biological data. Professor Filkov is a member of ISCB.
