I am a Research Scientist at
Department of Computer Science
University of California Davis
I work with
Dr. Prasant Mohapatra
Networks Research Lab
My research interests are in the areas of mobile multimedia systems, network security and forensics, mobile healthcare, hardware acceleration and machine learning techniques .
As a graduate student at the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in
Iowa State University, USA from August 2007 - 2010, I worked on my Ph.D. thesis titled "Algorithms and Architectures for Secure Embedded Multimedia Systems" under
Dr. Joseph Zambreno. We co-authored a book titled "Secure Embedded Multimedia Systems: Algorithms and Architectures" published in 2012 by Springer-Verlab, London Ltd.
My Bachelor's degree in electronics and
communications engineering from the
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee gave me background in signal and image processing. I also conducted research on video compression and bandwidth-adaptive multimedia
resource allocation Recent:
