I am a Research Scientist at Department of Computer Science, University of California Davis.
I work with Dr. Prasant Mohapatra in Networks Research Lab.
My research interests are in the areas of multimedia systems, wireless networks10:15 AM 11/2/2012 and embedded systems.
I was a graduate student of computer engineering at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Iowa State University, USA from August 2007 - 2010. I worked on my Ph.D. thesis titled "Algorithms and Architectures for Secure Embedded Multimedia Systems" under Dr. Joseph Zambreno as my advisor.
I have a Bachelor's degree in electronics and communications engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. In my undergraduate studies I did research with Dr. Ankush Mittal (Associate Profesor, Electronics and Computer Engg. Deptt., IITR) on Multimedia compression, Bandwidth-adaptive Multimedia resource allocation and other interesting research issues.
