Research Interest
My primary interests are in the areas of high-speed and wireless networks with particular emphasis
on the impact of these new technologies on the network and higher
layer protocols and applications. Building on the past extensive experience in protocol and architectural issues of the existing
telephone network, I currently interested in routing and security issues in IP
Telephony. I am interested in P2P networks with particular emphasis on
incentives for resource contributions. I am also interested in
mobile ad hoc and sensor networks, particularly, in challenges in and
applications of vehicular ad hoc networks. Finally, I am interested in the
protocols and architectural issues in next generation wireless and cellular
networks.
