My research focuses on computer security. I am interested in a broad range of security problems, including machine learning security, software security, and mobile and wireless security.

I am an IEEE fellow and an ACM Distinguished Member.
I won the National Science Foundation CAREER award in 2007, and UC Davis College of Engineering Faculty Award in 2010.
I received my PhD at the Computer Science Division at the University of California, Berkeley in 2004. My dissertation adviser was Professor David Wagner.
