Applications are invited for 2-3 Lecturers with Potential Security of Employment positions in Computer Science. We will consider all levels of candidates including Lecturers with Security of Employment (LSOE) and Senior Lecturers with Security of Employment (SOE), depending on experience and qualifications. This position parallels the position of a professor with tenure but with primarily teaching duties and teaching/curriculum related service activities. The successful candidate will teach computer science engineering courses (primarily at the undergraduate level). The responsibilities include the teaching of core courses including laboratories, continuous improvement of curriculum, participation in accreditation activities, and development of new educational initiatives. Participation in scholarly/creative activities is required. Successful submission and funding of grants related to education is strongly encouraged. The candidate will also have the opportunity to lead research projects, particularly for undergraduate students, and to develop newer seminars/courses with broad appeal in areas that influence computer science and engineering education. The candidate should have a strong teaching record and commitment to undergraduate instruction. Candidates with experience or willingness to engage in activities that contribute to diversity and inclusion are especially encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. in computer science engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
