(2) FPGA (VHDL) CORDIC Implementation of Digital Beamforming: Platform: Windows, Role: Project lead Language: VHDL, MATLAB Simulink Project details: Implemented Digital beamforming algorithm (MVDR Beamforming) in the Vertex II Pro FPGA using CORDIC Systolic array. Software version of this module was tested successfully using rigorous MATLAB simulink modeling. (3) Assembly language Digital Filters implementation: Platform: TMS320C3x processor, Role: Team lead Language: DSP Assembly language, Embedded C Project details: Implemented Digital Filters (FIR, IIR), FFT operations and IFFT on TMS320C3x processors. Used assembly language programming for 8051 and 8085 and also Pearl script languages. (4) OPNET and NS3 network simulators: Platform: Windows, Role: Team lead Language: Opnet, NS3 Project details: Implemented LTE based mobile communications in OPNET and NS3 network simulators. Analyzed performance of the various networking protocols OLSR, OSPF, AODV and also realized the TCP/IP and UDP transport layer protocols. (5) Digital Receivers Implementation using C, C++ and MATLAB: Platform: Ubuntu, Role: Team member Language: C, C++, Matlab Project details: Extensive experience in using C, C++ and MATLAB for the digital receiver implementations. Implemented MMSE and MPOE (Minimum probability of error) based receiver filters using C and C++. Realized the complete digital receiver modules (A/D converters, Digital downcoverters, Digital Signal Processors), QAM modulations on MATLAB and C. (6) Forward error correction coding implementation in C: Platform: Windows, Role: Team member Language: C, C++, Matlab Project details: Implemented Reed Solomon based forward error correction codes and also Berlekamp–Massey decoder using C.
