CS club events

LUGOD and GSoC Members of the Linux User Group of Davis (LUGOD) will be doing a presentation about the Google Summer of Code (GSoC). In particular, they will be talking about the Plone Content Management System project and the projects from the Open Source Geospatial Foundation. There will also be a Q&A sesssion about the projects of GSoC. The meeting will be held at the following setting:

    Open Forum on internship/career searching

    We're planning to hold our meeting of Spring quarter at the following setting:
  • Kemper 1003 Wednesday, April 1st 6-7pm
  • We will discuss our experiences and lessons to be learn from job hunting as to better ourselves in job hunting in the future. If you wish to submit your resume to us to be critique at the meeting, please send it in pdf format to officiers@daviscsclub.com. If you do not wish for your identity to be revealed, please send it with your name, contact info, and other private matter replaced with obvious fake info just to critique formatting.
  • We will also be discussing our newly acquired OLPC, picnic day, and elections at the meeting. As usual, free food and drinks! ------------------------------ --------

    ACM Mock Programming contest

    We will holding a Mock programming contest at the following setting: Room TBA (but it'll be in CSIF) Saturday, April 11th Time TBA (but it'll be in the afternoon for four hours) Come and test your programming skill in the ultimate mock contest.
