I've decided to put my lecture scribbles, I mean notes,
on the web. This is what I type in during the few hours
before each lecture, to remind me the things to talk
about. It doesn't necessarily reflect what we actually do
in lecture. (1) For one thing, I almost never get through
what I prepare. (2) For another, I try to follow the lead of the
class, and so lectures often include a fair amount of
unanticipated material.
(3) Sometimes, presenting something, I realize there was an error
in what I prepared, but I silently fix it during the presentation.
I don't go back and fix the notes.
(4) Finally, I change my mind as I'm presenting things
about how to do things.
So I can't really recommend reading these notes
for any particular purpose, but it's
convenient for me to have things on line!
