To begin forming a partial beta sheet consisting of the first two beta strands, the second beta strand is selected. The surrounding transparent green box is a 3D interaction widget that can be translated and rotated in 3D by dragging with the mouse. The yellow tube to the left of the selected structure indicates a coil region that has been selected for inverse kinematics - any movement of the green box is realized by updating backbone dihedral angles in the selected coil region.
